You've filled out a wholesale application and received your very first email from Windship Trading Co. welcoming you aboard. You've got login credentials, and you can now view our product selection with standard wholesale prices on the website. You've built a list of products you'd like to stock and are ready to place an order. So, now what? Let's stock those shelves!

It's time to place your first order. Here's what to expect.

There are a few easy ways you can place a wholesale order with Windship Trading. Whether you like to take your time and fill a cart online or prefer to speak with a sales rep, we've got you covered. Here is a breakdown of the order process.

How to order directly from our website.

If you already know what you'd like to stock and prefer to order online, that's great! Just log in to windshiptrading.com and fill up your cart. It's super easy. If this is your first time ordering with us online, here is a step-by-step guide to help you along:

1. Log in to our wholesale website with your username and password.
2. Fill your cart with everything you'd like to order.
3. Go to the checkout once you're done shopping.
4. Fill out shipping information and click continue.
5. Fill our billing address for future payment.*
6. Select check out to finalize your order.*

*You will not be charged for your order at this point.

What happens next.

Even though you have "finalized" your order and submitted the cart, your order is not quite complete yet. There are still a couple more steps, but don't worry. It's pretty painless from here.

Meet your sales rep and review the order. 

Since this is your first order with us, you most likely have not yet been assigned a sales rep unless you've had questions or special requests before purchasing. We'll see your order on the website and send you an email to introduce your sales rep. You'll receive their contact information as well, but they will likely reach out to you first to discuss your order.

Consider order discounts and stock levels.

At this point, the sales rep can review your order to see what discounts may apply. Usually, they are based on quantity, but not exclusively, and most orders qualify for some sort of deal. Just remember, when you order online, the total dollar amount will likely be less once these discounts are applied.

Your rep will also check stock levels on the items. Keep in mind that though we strive to keep all popular products in stock, there will often be some out-of-stock items. Our website does not currently reflect stock levels, but we are working diligently to upgrade this feature. Please bear with us for now! And, don't forget to use your sales rep as a coveted resource for this kind of information.

Ship orders from the closest warehouse to your store.

Windship Trading currently has three shipping centers in the United States. With locations in Florida, Texas, and Nevada, we're able to service the entire country (and beyond) quickly and efficiently. Your sales will rep ship your order from the warehouse closest to your store, given that we have everything in stock for your order in that location. If we are out of stock in one warehouse, we can ship the additional items from another site for you.

If you don't want to order online, hit up your sales rep!

You will end up communicating with your sales rep to some degree after your place your order. They'll fill you in on what's on backorder, what your discounts are, and your subtotal. However, if you would prefer to have your sales rep go over products and pricing first, our friendly sales team is always happy to jump on a phone call with you to take your order. Once you establish your first order, most reps are okay with emailing or texting, too.

We want to make sure you are receiving clear communication and the best customer experience possible. We don't want you to miss out on any deals or information about new products or the industry in general. Plus, the better the relationship you have with your rep, the better we can serve as your go-to supplier for smoke shop products.
